Upon completion of this program, physicians should be able to:
• Discuss new advances in lens-based refractive surgery, including phakic and presbyopic IOL technologies and implantation techniques;
• Consider innovative refractive lens-based options for myopic, hyperopic, and presbyopic patients;
• Review complications avoidance and management strategies for IOL surgery; and
• Discuss strategies for transitioning into lens-based refractive surgery.
